Trevor Smith

Trevor played D1 Men’s Lacrosse at Stony Brook and caught the pickleball bug 2 years ago after his father ordered a cheap wooden paddle set on Amazon. Fast forward two years later and Trevor is a PPR certified pickleball instructor, has won medals in several tournaments, and co-captains a 1st Place 4.0-4.5 pickleball team. Trevor is a student of the game who brings passion and enthusiasm out on the court with both his instruction and his game play. When he is not dropping and dinking, Trevor is probably practicing yoga, hanging at the beautiful Tampa Bay area beaches, or spending quality time with his wife Mai, and two amazing daughters, Kyla Rose and Daisey.

Stacey Koval

After nearly 20 years as a tennis player, Stacey decided to try pickleball. She was immediately hooked on both the sport and the vibrant community of people who play. Stacey found some early success in tournaments and leagues, thanks to her tennis background, and began working to develop pickleball fundamentals. She was passionate about welcoming others to the sport and enjoyed working with players who were just starting their pickleball journey. That evolved into actually teaching beginners and completing her coaching certification. Stacey’s professional background as a science educator and curriculum designer provides her with the skills to deliver instruction in a fun yet effective way. Stacey hopes to share her passion and skills with others interested in pickleball.
