The Pickleball Craze

 The game of Pickleball is exploding in popularity.  Since 2021, pickleball has been named the fastest-growing sport in the United States, according to the Sports and Fitness Industry Association.  Today there is an estimated 8.9-million pickleball players in the United States.  Two of the nation’s largest chains, Walmart and Subway want in on the action.

Subway is launching a new pickleball club sandwich, which debuts on April 27, 2023.  U.S. Open Champ, Andy Roddick, is partnering with Subway and promoting this new menu item.  Andy Roddick had participated in the recent Pickleball Hard Rock Slam with past tennis greats like, John McEnroe, Michael Chang and Andre Agassi.  It was so exciting to watch these tennis greats play pickleball against each other!!!
